Injury and litigation cases we handle

Every case gets a real Alaska lawyer who knows Alaska courts and Alaska roads.

A crash, a fall, or a denied claim can stop your work and your income while the insurer decides how little to pay.

More injury cases: maritime and Jones Act, slip and fall, snowmachine and ATV, plane and helicopter crashes, uninsured motorist claims, drunk driving crashes, and carbon monoxide poisoning.

How it works

What happens when you call

  1. Tell us what happened

Call or send the form. An attorney reviews your situation, and the consultation is free.
  2. We investigate

We gather records, preserve evidence, and identify everyone who may be responsible.
  3. We pursue full compensation

We deal with the insurers and take the case to trial when a fair settlement is not offered.

Common questions

Short answers about Alaska injury claims

What is the statute of limitations for an injury claim in Alaska?

Most Alaska injury claims must be filed within two years under the statute of limitations (AS 09.10.070). Wrongful death claims generally must be filed within two years after the death (AS 09.55.580). Some claims have shorter deadlines or steps that must come first. Call early.

What if I was partly at fault?

Alaska uses comparative fault. Your share of fault, if any, reduces your recovery by that percentage. It does not bar your claim (AS 09.17.060).

What does it cost to hire you?

The first consultation is free. Most injury cases are handled on a contingency fee. No attorney's fee unless we recover for you. Clients may be responsible for case costs. Under Alaska law, a losing party may be ordered to pay part of the other side's attorney's fees and costs.

Do I have to come to your office?

No. We can meet by phone or video, and we work with clients across Alaska.
